Final Project: Stop Motion
REFLECTION
In the video and audio production class, I worked on a number of projects, such as mints and Doritos commercials, as well as Lalin exercises, shooting exercises, audio dubbing, sound shaping, short video production, and finally stop-motion animation projects. These projects not only let me learn a lot of practical experience, but also help me find the balance between theory and practice.
In these projects, I learned how to shoot video, cut audio, adjust color, and do stop-motion animation. You have to be very careful with each step and try it several times. For example, when I was shooting a mints commercial, I figured out how to use lighting and camera selection, which not only made the picture look better, but also made the AD more attractive. When dubbing the video and adjusting the sound, I learned how to express my feelings with sound, which is particularly important for the whole work to move people.
These practices have made me thoroughly understand the entire process of video and audio production, from the beginning of planning to the completion of editing, every step must not be less. Not only did it make me better technically, it made me more creative.
However, in the process, I also found that I had to work on my time management and teamwork. Sometimes, I get so caught up in the details that I make a mistake in allocating my time and put some projects on a tight schedule. At the same time, in the area of teamwork, I found that I was not patient and flexible enough to deal with different opinions. These shortcomings remind me that in my future study and work, I need to pay more attention to efficiency and cooperation, and learn to better balance the needs of individuals and teams.
All in all, this course allows me to learn a lot of professional things, but also let me become stronger in practical operation.
